Family Fun Day with TWA
What a beautiful day to spend on the TC Bar Ranch with nothing but blue skies, sunshine and friends.
Dos Plumas Ranch "The Working Man's Ranch"
...Over the next months I was asked by several people about a place that called itself, "The Workings Man's Ranch", located 30 miles West of Abilene, near Trent & Sweetwater, TX. When I looked them up on the internet, I saw their name was Dos Plumas Ranch and that made me dig through my business cards until I found Allen's card. Dos Plumas Ranch aka "The Workings Man's Ranch", owned & operated by Allen Williams
Williams Ranch
This ranch has been in the family since the late 1920's. I split my time between Austin and the ranch. Huntress of the Year
What a morning! On four hours of sleep, after buying a new camera/camcorder and recharging the battery on my 70Watt inverter in my truck; while trying to find this beautiful remote ranch off HWY 83 (near Kerrville) without any food in my belly; I finally made it! Everyone take note: the gate code is 1985.
The Texas Grizzly Chase - Most Exciting Hunt of My LIfe
I've always heard of hunting hogs with dogs while riding horseback and thought there were no words to describe this kind of adventure – I was right – especially when the weapon of choice was a knife. When Keith Williams from the Williams Ranch dropped me an email last week and asked if I could be ready to go on Friday I had to take him up on the offer. I had no idea what I was getting in to, but knew it would rank in the top 5 thrills of my life. Actually, it ended up ranking number one.
Bucks, Bucks and more Bucks By Allen Shannon
I have never seen such an incredible buck to doe ratio as they have at the West Kerr Ranch. I was fortunate enough to spend a weekend hunting for a nice whitetail buck on the 11,000 acre ranch that butts up against the YO Ranch in Kerr County. I was just out there guiding for a youth hunt a few weeks back and knew I was going to see some nice game this weekend.
