Cabelas is here! I remember years ago when Bass Pro first opened a retail location up in Fort Worth.  I was excited, but I immediately thought “This is great, but it’d be even better if it was Cabelas.”

I’ve always liked Cabelas’ product line better and when I heard they were opening a store just south of Austin I was so excited!  Well it’s not just hearing about it any more that’s exciting - it’s actually taking a trip to the new store that opened this past week that excites me!  It lived up to all my expectations too.  The following is a photo gallery of some parts of the store.  There is twenty times more of the store available that what I took photos of and the photos don’t do it one bit of justice.  I’d recommend taking a trip there ASAP.  I’ve been twice this week and can’t wait to go again.  It’s also a great place to take a family.  I took my kids and they had a blast shopping, eating, and learning about what makes the great outdoors so great (especially in Texas:)).

So to wrap up my thoughts on Cabelas' newest store in Buda, Texas I just have three words...AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME.

I hope you enjoyed this short photo tour of the new Cabelas in Buda, Texas just south of Austin on I-35.  I wish I could do it more justice with the photos because once you stand up next to that Moose that’s standing with all 2500 pounds anchored in a pond filled with 40 lunker rainbow trout - you just haven’t seen the true spirit of Cabelas.  Go pack up the truck with the family or some friends and head over there today.  This is one trip where there is no doubt you’ll be glad you went.
