...Over the next months I was asked by several people about a place that called itself, "The Workings Man's Ranch", located 30 miles West of Abilene, near Trent & Sweetwater, TX. When I looked them up on the internet, I saw their name was Dos Plumas Ranch and that made me dig through my business cards until I found Allen's card.

What a morning!  On four hours of sleep, after buying a new camera/camcorder and recharging the battery on my 70Watt inverter in my truck; while trying to find this beautiful remote ranch off HWY 83 (near Kerrville) without any food in my belly; I finally made it!  Everyone take note: the gate code is 1985.
