Hey guys, this is my first post. I would like to hear some ranch/outfitter recommendations for an axis doe/hog hunt. It will be for a large group of experienced hunters (10+).
If you recommend one, please indicate where they are located, game you hunted, how large the ranch is, accommodations, if they have a website, and anything else you feel is important. (post, pm, or email)
Thank you!

Check out the guides and outfitters section. A good number of them have reviews or comments. I know Hackberry and Kerr come up a lot. I don't hunt exotics, but a lot of guys on here do.
Keep yer eyes peeled!

I can't think of the name, but there is a place in Mason Co, that is a no kill no pay type exotic outfit and a good friend of mine goes up there all the time. My Father-in-law hunted there a few years back and he loved it. I don't think there sleeping quarters are all that great, but for 10+ guys you could have one heck of a poker party. I will call my buddy and ask unless someone can think of it. There office is next door to the DQ in Mason.
Don't be a duck.

| I have a ranch listed on here. I do corporate packages as well. Look up Medina River Ranch on this site or www.medinaranch.com Our accomodations are one of the best offered. Summer prices are $300 accomodations for 3 days 2 nights per person, $200 for each axis doe. Does are no kill no pay. You will receive a place to stay in one of our 3 houses, non-alcoholic beverages and snack food. Guests can go to town for dinner or we have a huge kitchen and lodge if you want to bring your own dinner to cook. Dinner and Breakfast can be thrown in if there is a 10 person booking. we have roughly 1000 acres with cedar cleared, private stream, and lake fron propert for fishing. You can call me for questions @ 832-262-2805. Also, we have no hogs if this is what you are wanting. I can offer you Sika does at the same price as well. |

You need to check out Medina river ranch. That place is absolutly awesome. If you want a nice place with plenty of game check them out. We had 6 in our group and had 100% success. Hell with the hogs go shoot 2 axis does they are better eating. If you want a hog call me I have 11000 acres in brazoria county that is over run with hogs but no exotics. We offer waterfowl, dove, quail, bass fishing, and hog hunting.

I have a place I hunt that's more of a comfortable place, and the price is right, AND they feed you, but it sleeps 8. b-hunting.com Bob Kight or
kight@awesomenet.net
3,800 acres in Camp Wood TX. It's mountains. 1,000 acres high fenced and the rest free ranging. 4 wheelers welcome. Sure is nice to come in from hunting hogs at 1 in the morning, and dinner be waiting! I think he has like 25 full time feeders and set up for bow and rifle. He has alot of sheep too that are reasonable. I like the free ranging area, and being able to run on my ATV and not be babysat, so he lets me do that. I'm supposed to be there this week, but don't want to take the grandson on that hunt. Grandmas too serious when she hunts there.
A Family that Hunts together, stays together.
(unless they leave me home!)
