Anyone have any good ideas about attracting hogs?... besides the typical hog wild and corn?

I have made a big mud wallow about the size of a truck, and anytime that I have leftovers or scraps from my meals at the house I take them out and go put them in that wallow. That rotten smell along with the mud helps bring them in.

here are a few things that have been successful for me in the past:

1. get a 3 liter bottle of big red and corn. dig up some holes about 2 ft wide and half a foot to a foot deep: depending on how much your willing to work. if you already have hog wallows this is even better. all i do is spread the corn out all over the wallows and holes and pour the big red all over it. the sweet smell of it carries and they like it alot.

2. corn and diesel. now some pple pour the corn over the diesel and some people get an old rug and wrap it around a tree and then pour diesel on it. for some reason the hogs like the musky smell of it and it feels good on their back. this is very effective if you already have them and if you have a general idea of where they're located.

hope this helps you out!
