I am a avid outdoorsman and have hunted all my life. I was raised in the country and have hunted all kinds of game. One evening in October 2003 a friend of mine and a great outdoors man Preston Johnson from Leon County Texas were hog hunting on one of his properties we wasn't having much luck while driving roads on the property and were heading home when he saw a herd of wild hogs crossing a right of way. He pointer me in the right direction and said to shoot. Suddenly I recall him saying You got two of them. I still didn't see but one hog, I was getting out of the Truck going to do what has to be done after you kill one of those tuff animals and low and behold there laid another one 50 yards from the other one. So we had to do double duty. I remarked that I would never be fortunate enough to do this again. The opening day of gun season in 2007 I was hunting on the Lynn Rogers Ranch in western Leon County on the Navasota River. We had been having problems with those Hogs eating at our Corn feeders and such. Shortly after daylight here comes those hogs, four of them they stayed out from the feeder and was rooting down the wood line, when they got in what I thought was good range for my 25-06 I let one go. After getting down to check the hog I killed I looked over in the brush and guess what there was another one that was dead, shot on the neck. My friend could not believe it. Then I told him it wasn't the first time to do it. This probably will NEVER happen again!!
