Well, I've hunted Aquilla whole lot over the last 10 years or so and I gotta tell ya, while there are definately hogs out there (and lots of them), they're pretty hard to find and almost completely nocturnal. In fact, while the areas around my stands has usually had lots of hog sign, I've only seen a pig while hunting on one occassion and it was hauling tail like it was being chased by a cougar.
I think the biggest problem is that pigs like water, and, being that the land surrounds a lake, there's plenty of it. So they don't have to bunch up around a water source. If you get farther away from the lake, you'll see a lot of sign around the creeks, but the farther from the main lake you get, the less buffer you have between the water source and someone's house (and all these people have dogs running loose).
But, for the sake of arguement, if I were going out there to look for pigs, I'd probably start somewhere up on the Hackberry end. This area tends to be harder to access and more remote. That's also where I saw the one I did.
