Who out there are bow hunting tomorrow?

What animal are you most looking for?

What would you thwack tomorrow if it walks under the stand?

I am going in the morning for sure, maybe in the afternoon. Who knows. Most importantly I want to see deer, the more the better. However I am much more likely to take a turkey than ANY deer, unless its a heart attack buck. If any hogs come out I am certainly going to take one out. Hunting rule # 1 if you see a hog, you shoot a hog!!!

I will be in my tree come daylight Lord willin and the creek isn't too deep to cross. Almost 100% dittos to Matt's plans ceptin for the turkey cause we don't have any in the piney woods where I hunt.  They are supposed to be in the national forest but I have seen no sign nor have  I really scouted for them. I've seen a hog track that is close to 3 5/8 inches long. It would be nice for him to sashey by my stand. I have had the pigs come in toward the feeder a couple of times when I didn't use my "BREATHEOUT"breath filter and I would hear the whughhhh warning the leader hog would make and away they would go. When I take care of my scent signature properly and use my breath filter, they don't have the foggiest notion that danger is nearby and that is my plan for this years.  I have been excited about opening day for a while now. Do you ever get too old to get excited about going hunting or fishing?  Don't ask me. You will have to ask someone older than me and I am 75 already.

If you are interested in what in the world is a " BREATHEOUT," Then check out this link  --  BarrickSpecialties.com  -- to find out the details. There is a lot of helpful ideas about taking care of your scent signature.

I want to mention the fact that Texas Hunt and Fish has featured the story of the Breatheout Invention on the Home page for a long while and I will say Thank you to the good people of Texas Hunt and Fish for their help. By the way, I would reccommend that you go to the video section and go back to around page 32 and look for the video of young Jason Parrish stalking pigs. i got a bang out of that one.

My youngest son (31) and I were out on Corps of Engineers land opening morning. Didn't see anything. Son had a huge (he estimates 45+ lbs) coyote within 30 feet of his ground blind but couldn't draw on him before he left the area. I'll be out there again next weekend while son has to work. Hope you guys had better luck.
