The U.S. Sportsmen’s Alliance (USSA) has previously indicated that the nation’s largest anti-hunting group, the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) and other like-minded organizations are using religion as a way to spread their animal rights message.  A recent press release by the HSUS gives more evidence of this effort as they promote their “All Creatures” tour with 35 stops nationwide at music clubs and Christian universities.

The music tour is part of the HSUS faith outreach program asserting that religious values “call upon us to act in a kind and merciful way towards all creatures.”  The tour includes the MTV 2008 breakout artist of the year, the Myriad, and will include an HSUS produced video encouraging people to “consider their responsibilities to animals.”

The USSA has previously referred to how the anti’s have begun manipulating religion to advance a cause that is radically out of step with the majority of Americans and, certainly, America’s sportsmen.  This tour is a further example of the clever tactics being employed by those that seek to do away with American outdoor traditions.

According to Christine Gutleban, the director of the HSUS faith outreach program, “Music moves people, and combined with a cause, it has the power to transform hearts and minds and to spread the message of compassion and mercy for God's creatures."

The tour began September 29 in Washington D.C. and ends on October 26 in San Diego, California.

HSUS is nothing but a group of '90s of animal terrorists (link here) that have managed to repackage and promote themselves very well.  They also are taking in over $200 million per year in gross revenue and are increasing their influence in poilitical circles as well as proving themselves adept at litigation in the courts.

While we may chuckle at the antics of their alter-ego PETA make no doubt about it... these guys are no laughing matter.  They're just as rabid, and just as demented, and just as determined as their sometimes comical kissin' cousins.

And, unfortunately, these folks twisted New-Age manipulations on a Chiristian's responsibility for good stewardship will have some listeners.
