My husband and a few of his friends booked a trip with this guy. It was meant to be a memorable weekend for my daughter and other kids with their dads. Not to mention the men were looking forward to a great time and killing the animals that they were led to believe were plentiful. !!!!!!WRONG!!!!!!! THEY WERE SCAMMED FROM THE START. Please do not waist your money. They were supose to be able to shoot three hogs, three turkeys two deer and one exotic. Well, much to their surprise the animals were scarce. This was bad but to make it worse, when they arrived, they discovered that they would have to find lodging. He led them to belive that there were cabins on his property. WRONG AGAIN!!! To top the cake, they were told that they would be the only ones on the lease just to find out thet there were guns EVERYWHERE. they were drop[ped of at the stand at 5:30 am and not picked up until 6pm that evening. On the bright side, my little girl (10) did shoot a nice hog, and one of the guys got a deer. (THE ONLY TWO ANIMALS THAT WERE SEEN ALL WEEKEND). According to my little girl, Keagan (the guide) was great but the trip was AWFUL and would have been a complete bust if she had not bonded with her dad, After all there was nothing else to do. (NO HUNTING). DO NOT WAIST YOUR TIME OR MONEY UNLESS YOU ARE ONLY WANTING TO SIT IN A STAND FOR TWELVE HOURS AND DO NOTHING.

THIS HAD TO BE THE WORST MANAGED HUNT EVER....

Unfortunately, there are alot of bad people out there and things like this are always gonna happen.  I had a similiar situation happen to me and my brother in law a few years ago when we decieded to go on a day hunt recomended by a family member.  It turned out to be a scam, although one of us did shoot one deer, the blinds were terrible, feeders did not work, and there were good areas to hunt, but the guide claimed they were not accessible and only special "members" had access to prime spots, since we were just day guest we had to hunt out of the junky blinds.  THe guide did offer us a free hunt to come back and provided lunch / breakfast during the hunt.

The pictures on this guy's website are not even legit. Go look at his "trophy room". Half of the pictures on the website are from up north and not even of his own ranch. He has posted pictures of animals that were killed elsewhere, not on his "ranch". This guy also has pictures from the 80's. Just take a look at them.

I hate scam artists. This guy is one real piece of work. This is just as bad as stealing from someone. Not to worry. Karma is a bitch and this A-hole will get his when it comes back around and it will be twice as bad. What a real class act!!!

I wish I could let people know what kind of jerk and liar this guy is. He needs to be blackballed from the world of hunting and outfitting. Anyone out there know how we could get this douchebag's name for all to see, so they know not to even consider his lodging?

The guys name is Ken Gould and I noticed that his website isn't even active any longer.  I have 2 numbers for him, not sure if they work...512-963-8745 & 512-601-3318.

On the other hand...if you are up in the Harper area, I know of a great guide that I have personally hunted with and everything is legit (exotics, hogs, elk, whitetails, varmits, etc).  There are several hotels in the area as no onsite lodging is provided, but great guide, very knowledgeable and honest...very competitive pricing also.
