Just made the last bit of Wild Hog meat I had today for supper and man let me tell you the wife and kids loved it. It is a simple recipe and very rewarding healthy meal to prepare. I started off by de-boning a roast from a processed hog and cutting the pork into little squares, then I slow cooked it covered with no water or oil for 30 minutes, once the pork released it's own juice to stew in I added about a half cup of flour mixed very good in a cup of water then poured that into the slow cooking pork along with some garlic, pepper, slat and what ever spices you like. I continuied to slow cook the pork for another 15 minutes while I prepared white rice to go with the carne guisada. To plate the meal I made a bed with the white rice and then just spooned the Wild Boar carne guisada right on top, what a great, tasty healthy dinner that the whole family appreciated. I am thankful that I have the opportunity to harvest such good quality wild game and able to prepare it in the great outdoors or even better at home for the family Ted Nugent style, long live the Beast!!!
