I would like to put out a challenge to all of us on TexasHuntFish.com. Since most of us hunt in Texas, we all have a real good chance of killing or catching wild pigs. The challenge I have for us "connoisseurs" of all things pig, is to be as truthful as possible as to the size of the pigs we are killing!!
What I mean by this, is if you are going to state how big the "hog" you killed is, let's not guess at the weight! Most of us can afford a hanging scale that will handle up to 500 lbs. Since we all like pictures of our kills, I say we cut out the skepticism and take a picture(when situations allow for it) of the "Trophy" hanging with the weight showing!
I know there are probably some "Hogzillas" out there in our woods, but big hogs just like big deer didn't get big by being stupid. Every pig out there has a big target painted on them and unless they are "penned up" I really don't think there are many 500 pounders running around in their natural environment(not in the woods I hunt--JMHO).
As I said to begin with, this is just a challenge to be as truthful as possible. I hope no one gets their feathers ruffled!!!
Last but not least...... Kill'em ALL!!!!!!!!!
