HAPPY

I would like to put out a challenge to all of us on TexasHuntFish.com. Since most of us hunt in Texas, we all have a real good chance of killing or catching wild pigs. The challenge I have for us "connoisseurs" of all things pig, is to be as truthful as possible as to the size of the pigs we are killing!!

What I mean by this, is if you are going to state how big the "hog" you killed is, let's not guess at the weight! Most of us can afford a hanging scale that will handle up to 500 lbs. Since we all like pictures of our kills, I say we cut out the skepticism and take a picture(when situations allow for it) of the "Trophy" hanging with the weight showing!

I know there are probably some "Hogzillas" out there in our woods, but big hogs just like big deer didn't get big by being stupid. Every pig out there has a big target painted on them and unless they are "penned up" I really don't think there are many 500 pounders running around in their natural environment(not in the woods I hunt--JMHO).

As I said to begin with, this is just a challenge to be as truthful as possible. I hope no one gets their feathers ruffled!!!

Last but not least...... Kill'em ALL!!!!!!!!!

I agree, if your going to bragg about something then back it up, I've seen too many people bragg about the size of the hogs killed when it is obvious by comparing their body size to the hog that they are full of it or they weigh 300 lbs also. Be proud of what you kill regardless of the weight, and be thankfull that God lets us Hunt everyday.

I agree about the exageration of the weight.  Seems everyone would like to kill a 350#er like this one.  Err, maybe 3.5 or 5.3 not really sure but he was a hoss.  Happy hunting everyone and keep it honest.
