I will be moving back to Texas this week after working out of state for 14 years. I will be coming back to the DFW area and trying to find places to hunt so I'm ready for when the season starts. Deer, Hog, Upland, and waterfowl. Just wanted to see if I could be pointed in the right direction for public or private land hunting. Thanks for any info.

LBJ National Grasslands would probably been the closes place to you. It's free to hunt and there are turkey, quail, ducks, deer, and even a few hogs in some areas.
