Mike,
Welcome to THF from another (former) Pennsylvanian.
I'm sure you already know this, but from an access standpoint you've got it pretty good up there in PA. In fact, when I first moved here I thought they were crazy asking me to pay to hunt on someone else's land. But, its their land to do with as they think best and paying has been the way to hunt in Texas for a long, long time. Texas is approximately 95% privately owned, so finding a good place is going to take some real 'sweat equity'. Don't get me wrong...there are some very generous people down here. But, these days very few people (I can't think of one) will let folks they don't know on their land. Here's one site, besides THF, that has a board for hog hunts. There are many others.
One thing I will mention. If you decide to book a hog or predator hunt BE VERY CAREFUL about who you do business with. Check them out thoroughly. There are some great guys that frequent this site - many of them are very good at what they do, and are reasonable, safe, and honest. There are a few others you need to steer clear of.
