Dont know how far your plannin on travalin but there are alot of public places to go down in south texas...get your public land permit when you get your license. Its around 45 dollars and it givs you plenty of places in texas to hunt for all kinds of game. When you buy it they will send you a booklet with maps of the properties. If you are familiar with all that and want to purchase a hunt i would look down around laredo....theres a ranch called Callahan Ranch down there that is full of them..dont know tha prices though. I realize its already came and gone but maybe some things for you to look at for next year. PEACE
