The Young Life Austin West Deer Tournament is back and registration is open now for the 2010 - 2011 season.
CATEGORIES INCLUDE: -Biggest Buck Overall -Biggest Buck South Zone (per TPWD zones): Rifle and Archery, High Fence and Low Fence -Biggest Buck North Zones (per TPWD zones): Rifle and Archery, High Fence and Low Fence -Heaviest Hog (dressed) -Heaviest Doe (dressed) -Biggest Buck Youth (16 and under) -Best Wildlife Photo (any animal or landscape) -Best Hunting Story of the Season
Entries for all categories must include an affidavit or official scoring sheet and a trophy photograph which includes the hunter. Email this info along with the county, category of entry and date of harvest to info@deertournament.com to enter! If you are submitting a photo or story, just send it!
Remember, you must register BEFORE your harvest, so register today!
Prizes for the 3rd Annual will depend on the number of contestants registered by the end of the season. Whether the prizes are $50 Cabela's gift cards or $500 rifles or $800 bows all depends on YOU and how well you publicize the event this year! If you have been a part of our contest for the last two years, you know we don't skimp on rewarding our winners, so get your friends to sign up!
All hunters receive a 3rd Annual T-shirt for registering, and all winners are guaranteed a 3rd Annual cap. Additinoal prizes will be announced as the season progresses and will depend on the number of hunters competing. So sign up today and get your friends to register - the more hunters compete, the better the prizes will be!
The awards for the 3rd Annual will be presented at a BBQ and skeet contest in the early Spring of 2011, date and location TBD. Register now for great food, great prizes, and lots of fun!
