Tree stand and corn will help a lot. Hog hunting is also much better from evening until morning. They seem to have become nocturnal over the years. I've also heard of putting a tiny bit of diesel feul on the corn.

Brave soul trying to sneak up on Wilbur. Provided you can even get close to bow range, drop down low...take a knee. Less likely to spook them. If you spook them, and can squeel, they may stop and come back...Not joking. Look for ground tore all up.  If a large batch is in the area may look like ground has been plowed. May even smell them. They dont realy like to be out in daylight. latest I have seen them out and about is 7:30AM. Have seen one out durring the day, but it had taken a shotgun blast to the face, and was coming to water...he didnt make it.

Like BS said early morning or late evening. More in the evening where I hunt. They are usually the last thing I see for the evening. They seem to have gotten a lot smarter over the years also. I've watched a sow sit behind some scrub bushes for a long time just looking at my feeder. I could almost hear what she was thinking "Man I sure am hungry for some of that corn, but just yesterday I saw my best friend eat from that same pile, and then I heard this big BANG!!, and now she's gone". Then again I've had a feeding frenzy at my feeder once also. Where there were at least 20 feeding like crazy. I shot until I ran out of bullets, and the funny thing is they never ran away even with all of there buddys dropping. I ended up taking 6 home that evening. I now bring plenty of ammo with me. Oh yeah, and 6 pigs is a lot of work once the processing starts. I would submit the video if I knew how. Maybe my daughter can help.

Nathan,

Will all due respect, you're trying too hard.  Hogs dont have very good eye sight so the ghilie suit is just extra gear you dont need.  Hunt them over bait in the early part of the morning, before sunup or just after sundown.  Hogs, especiall older ones  have always been noctournal, especially in the summer.  Good luck.

The Hunt goes on forever, the season never ends. http://www.hossfly.com 979 777 1725
