Members -

Has anyone heard of an Association called "Texas Hog Hunting Association?"

I have a friend whom allows me to hunt Hog on their land - and she mentioned that a person whom identifies himself as a broker or senior representative for the "Texas Hog Hunting Association" and has been harassing her about allowing it's members on her land as a business opportunity.

This is frustrating for her since - this guy just enters her land whenever he chooses and can't seem to take "not interested" as a reasonable answer.

Being that I am a Texas peace officer - I have advised her that she should write his license plate down, call the S.O. and report him as a trespasser.

Fortunately for this obnoxious fellow - she is nice and is not interested in taking legal action against his illicit activity.

As with all these other hunting associations that have brokered land deals for their members- I would like to bring to light that it is because of these associations that cause problems for low income hunters and make Hog Hunting - a previously free and leisure activity - a now costly endeavor.

Again - might anyone know anything about this association?

Wharton county

I did a search for THHA and only came up with American Hog Hunt Ass. He might be a rep for them, but with out a name I wouldn't be able to find out if He is for real.

Your Freind could post Her property "No hunting or Trespassing" I live way down in Wharton, So if She is close to Me I would be happy to post signs for Her.. All I would ask for is Lunch for doing it... If You patrol Her area, Keep a eye out. Or see if She would call You next time He comes around...

Also if this person is always on Her property You could talk with a C.O and let them know of a possible poacher in the area. All they would need is the area and color/type of truck/car.

I hunt at the koch's rocking 7 ranch for hog hunting near Hondo. I have never heard of that either. Here is there web address http://kochsrocking7ranch.com/ to compare your areas.

It is amazing how people do not respect boundaries.
