ANTLERS I was in Junction this past weekend at my best friends uncles place to do some culling of inferior bucks on his place. The first night there, Friday the 2nd this gal came in with two friends under the feeder when it was almost too dark to see. I could make out her outline so I put the cross hairs mid body just behind the shoulder and slowly squeezed the trigger. She staggered and then took off.  I got down from the stand and got on the 4 wheeler and went to the stand. Bright red blood was all over the leg of the feeder and lots of it too. I certainly didn't want to go into the woods in the dark on a 4 wheeler with a wounded hog so I made the 5 minute trip back to camp. My buddy and I jumped in the little ranch jeep and headed back. We drove back behind the stand through what openigs we could find. There she was not 60 yards from where I hit her. She will certainly be good in some sausage. I hope the picture come through.

I'm sure it's something I'm doing, or not doing as it were. This is my first digital camera and I'm not a huge electronic gadgets guy so I'm not really sure what I'm doing. I'm sure Allen can help with the problem for the next time.

Awesome hog superg!  Keep sharing your photos.  It might just be a setting you can change on the camera to make them smaller.

That hog will make some dang good sausage.  Congrats!

Thanks Allen, I need to talk to someone that knows more about these things than I do. It might help to read the entire instruction manual instead of just the first 5 pages. LOL.

As for the hog, I'm not sure how good she actually was. This was the first one I took but everyone at camp said she was nice so.....
