That sucks!  Did you do the filming too?  A friend of mine went hunting with me at the end of October and shot a pig with a bow that was about 125 lbs.  He came and got me before he trailed it and once we started to track it we found some good blood that was bright red.  We tracked for forever, through all sorts of thick brush and there was alot of good blood.  Eventually we lost the blood trail, but later picked it up again and still never found him.  I have always heard to shoot a hog with a bow when it is quartering away and to put the arrow right behind the rib cage and into the vitals so that it does not have to penetrate the thick plate of gristle.  I got lucky when I shot mine opening week of deer season and I got my arrow right behind the ribs and through the heart.  She only ran 40-50 yards.

Man good looking group of hogs and nice shot.  Was there any blood?  Surely so - it seemed like good placement to me.

Yep, there was good blood, but then it fizzled out.  I was tracking at night and came back the next morning after a huge rain.  As you can imagine, there was no blood, but I fully expected to find the sow near by.  Oh well, coyote's gotta eat too.

I think the shot may have been a little bit back and it missed the heart,  it probably laid up in some brush some where.  Good video though.

When it was in slow motion you could see the arrow on the left hand side of the screen it the biggest hog on the left.
