Texas -

We want to make everyone aware of the members of TOP that are joining together during the 2009 Wild Boar Hunting EXPO (February 28th & March 1st, 2009) to put on the annual TDHA hog hunting tournament that brings in meat for the hungry of Texas.  No where in the hunting community has there ever been over 10 TONS of meat brought in and processed in one day.  Many said it couldn't be done, but it happened during the 2008 tournament.  With the help of Hunters Harvest all this meat is utilized and the less fortunate of our great State are fed.

The 2009 EXPO will again host the TDHA Hunt for the Hungry hog hunting tournament.  TDHA brought in over 20,000 pounds of pork last year that was made into sausage and donated to the needy of Texas.  They hope to break the 30,000 pound mark this time.  With your help this event can and will be a success again.  It is truly wonderful to see hunters joining together to feed the hungry and at the same time removing hundreds of feral hogs from the Texas countryside.  These hogs destroy land an native habitiat and can reak havoc on ground nesting birds, newborn fawns, and other native wildlife.  Please help TDHA by sponsoring their annual contest or donating prizes to the contest.  The better TDHA can make the payouts and prizes, the more contestants will enter.  This equals more feral hogs removed and more meat generated for Hunters Harvest.

For any questions or info on sponsoring the 2009 TDHA hog hunting tournament or for info on the Wild Boar EXPO please give me a call.   TDHA is a 501C non-profit organizaion.

We hope to see you all at the 2009 Wild Boar EXPO and hope you come by the TDHA booth and watch the tournament weigh-in on Sunday!

Thanks,
