Tri-Tronics and the Texas Dog Hunter's Association (TDHA) have finalized a sponsorship agreement for the 2010 TDHA "Hunt for the Hungry Hog Hunting Tournament" in conjunction with "The LoneStar Working Dog and Hunter's Expo" put on by Wild Boar USA-Ugly Dog Ranch (WBUSA-UDR), March 5-7, 2010.

In conjunction with the expo, the TDHA hosts the annual "Hunt for the Hungry" contest. Hog hunters, with their dogs, come from across the state to compete for cash and prizes. All the wild pork generated from the contest is donated to Hunter's Harvest which turns the meat into sausage and distributes it to the poor of Texas. In 2009, over seventy teams harvested 267 hogs, producing 28,657 pounds of meat for the needy.

"TDHA is very excited about this relationship with Tri-Tronics!!" stated Jo Lynne Starks, member of the TDHA's board of directors. Tri-Tronics will award the winners with a 2-mile Trashbreaker G3 EXP/Tracer Light collar systems. All registered competitors will have an opportunity to purchase products from Tri-Tronics at a discounted rate.

The Texas Dog Hunter's Association is committed to the promotion and protection of the rights of Texas dog hunters.
