The mountain lion, also known as cougar, panther, catamount or puma, has the widest distribution of any wild cat from Canada to South America. Prior to European settlement, mountain lions lived throughout Texas. By 1960, predator control, loss of habitat, and human settlement reduced mountain lion numbers and limited their distribution within Texas to the mountainous country in the TransPecos region of West Texas.

This one was caught Wednesday using dogs.....wieghed around 300 and had 3 inch cutters!! No fences...just pure dee wild and nasty!!

Getta load of those choppers! This huge boar was caught this boar with dogs during the Texas Dog Hunters Association hunting tournment. The boar has 3 1/8 inch tusks and won the longest tusk.

The TDHA ended up bringing in over 30,000 pounds of pork to donate and help feed the needy.  A great hunt for a great cause.
