Just got done setting up a brand new blind and feeder on a small ranch between Devin and Jordanton called "Rancho Guerrero".  This is a small piece of property that my wife's uncle and Edroy Postmaster takes care of for his father-in-law and has not been hunted for several years.  We are excited about the potential for success, just walking around the ranch we spotted lots of wildlife sign and hog activity.  The Atascosa river runs right through the middle of this small piece of heaven and good deer have been taken years ago.  There is also a small food plot of flex grass growing near our blind and there is a nice game trail leading straight to the feeder and blind.  The bonus for us is that the property is just south of San Antonio and a short drive from our home base.  Plus it gives our other hunting property in Mathis TX and Benavides a break from the hunting pressure.  Hope to post up some nice pics from any harvest of bucks or pigs coming our way soon!!!

We are thinking it's a good spot, got only one problem, a bad neighbor who does not respect hunting ethics and we suspect might be poaching on our land.  Since we are not always around to patrol the property, we are suspecting that he may be harvesting animals near our hunting set up and dragging them across to his property, regardless, this could cause a serious problem.  Hopefully, there is enough wildlife in the area for everyone, ethical or not!!!
