One of my many recent searches on the web I came across a  small footprint  multi platform  telephone program that runs on your computer and comunicates through your speakers and microphone. Using your computer and internet connection you can call anywhere in the world for free. the only down side(if you consider it  a down side)is that the people you call must have the program running on their computer also. It only works on the internet.  The program is free to download, free to use, and free to call, so its free! You get your own phone number, and no one can see your info.

my cq phone number is 633-4741 On my scale of 1-10 I give it a 9.7

How great would this be if the forum could integrate members cq phone numbers  under their avatars?

Or, you could use VoIP (voice over internet protocol).  It works the same way except the signal can be converted to an ordinary phone signal.  Some ISPs provide this for free, others do not.  Kinda works as pictured below:.
